Bethany is urgently seeking ministry workers for its team!

Established in 1987, Bethany offers a place of rest, encouragement and restoration for Christian workers and their families serving in Hong Kong and beyond. We are a non-denominational, independent charity that is committed to “soul care” for Christians from all church backgrounds and make a special emphasis serving cross-cultural workers. We accomplish this by offering a place of rest and care. 

Belonging to the Bethany team offers a wonderful opportunity to engage in mission from the perspective of rest and renewal in God. Ministry workers get exposure to an array of missional work and a chance to serve Christians from different contexts and church backgrounds. Located on an outer island of Hong Kong, one can experience the vibrant city and laid back nature of Cheung Chau island.

Ministry Vacancies 

Resident Ministry Leader(s) – Serving as resident host to all Bethany guests by offering warm welcome to guests, prayer support, guest retreat facilitator, and overseer of an operations aspect of the ministry (listed below). Bethany is seeking a dynamic married couple and an energetic single adult for its team. APPLY HERE: Ministry Leader Application

Bringing added specialized ministry experience/offering is highly desirable: member care experience, coaching, spiritual direction, pastoral care experience, or counselling. 

**Ministry leaders are provided room and board in lieu of a salary. Leaders should be able to raise their own support to serve as mission workers in Hong Kong. Bethany provides a work visa for those coming from abroad.
